Ireland: 14-Day Active Self-Drive Adventure
Adventurous Ireland combines an independent road trip with four guided activities, each revealing a different side of the country. Walk in Wicklow, kayak the Wexford coast, cycle through Cork, ride an Irish Cob on the Dingle Peninsula and finish with an introduction to Gaelic Games in Dublin. Kerry, the Burren and Connemara provide further options for hiking and scenic driving. The pace is active but varied, with multi-night bases that avoid changing hotel every day.

Itinerary
Arrival and Wicklow
Collect your separately arranged vehicle and continue towards Wicklow. If time and path conditions allow, begin with a short coastal walk before settling into your first two-night base.
Wicklow Mountains
Choose a walk in the Glendalough area suited to your experience and the weather. The Spinc and Glenealo Valley route is a more demanding suggestion and is not a guided inclusion.
Wicklow to Wexford
Travel south towards Wexford and Waterford. An independent walk near Hook Lighthouse can be considered before your two-night stay.
Guided sea kayaking
Join the included three-hour kayaking experience. After a safety briefing and equipment fitting, paddle a route selected for the day's conditions, with snacks and hot chocolate included.
Mahon Falls and Cork
Continue west towards Cork, with an optional short walk to Mahon Falls if conditions suit. Arrive for a two-night stay.
Cork by bicycle
Discover Cork on the included guided bicycle tour, covering neighbourhoods, bridges and city history. The remainder of the day is free for the market and food scene.
West Cork to Kerry
Follow the Wild Atlantic Way towards Kerry. Pause at Mizen Head for an optional coastal walk, then continue to your three-night base.
Ring of Kerry
Explore the Ring of Kerry by road and choose between coastal stops and an independent walk in Killarney National Park. Keep the day flexible for weather and road conditions.
Dingle horse ride
Travel onto the Dingle Peninsula and join the included one-hour guided horse ride. No prior experience is stated as necessary; the provider will allocate the route and horse.
Clare and the Burren
Continue towards Galway via the Cliffs of Moher and Burren. Admissions and any boat cruise are optional, and cliff paths must only be used where officially open.
Connemara
Spend the day in Connemara. Diamond Hill is a suggested independent walk; select the route based on fitness, weather and official trail conditions before returning to the Galway area.
Return to Dublin
Drive back to Dublin and settle in for two nights. Use the evening for the city centre at your own pace.
Gaelic Games
Take part in the included three-hour introduction to Gaelic football, hurling and Gaelic handball. The rest of the day is free for Dublin.
Departure
Continue to Dublin Airport and return the separately arranged vehicle, allowing time for check-in formalities.
Clarity before you travel.
