Drive to Monodendri where is the starting point for crossing the Vikos. The Vikos gorge is the
world record holder as the deepest canyon, its total depth from bottom to top is 1100m! In the
end of the gorge are formed the springs of river Voidomatis, which is the cleanest river of
Greece and charms the visitors from all over the world, by its crystal-clear blue-green waters.
The natural splendour is waiting for us, gigantic rocks will frame the view and the rare flowers
will sprang through the rocks to accent the feast of flora that surrounds us. The path in its end
becomes heavily uphill right till the Vikos village, where is the finish of the route. Shortly before
leaving the gorge continue to the springs of Voidomatis, where you can have a stop for a swim at the crystal-clear waters. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
